Established in 1924 and located in Simmerath, OTTO JUNKER is dedicated to the design, manufacture and worldwide sales of metallurgical furnace equipment and thermo-processing systems. The company’s high-grade steel foundry produces high-alloy sand castings from iron, nickel and cobalt-based materials - as cast, pre-machined or finished - with gross weights ranging from a few kilograms to a maximum of 10,000 kg.
As a global technology- and system partner for thermal processes OTTO JUNKER’s cast high-grade steel products find their uses in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, foodstuffs processing, environmental engineering, power generation, marine technology, semi-conductor production, research and development, and many other demanding applications.
The high-grade steel foundry also offers toll machining services, particularly for the CNC vertical lathes and produces castings for special mechanical engineering applications. In addition the company comprises a global after-sales support activity providing maintenance, upgrading services and functional expansions of existing equipment, in addition to spare part supplies.
Especially in the field of energy and material efficient operation of their self-produced industrial furnaces for melting and heat treatment of metals, OTTO JUNKER is a European innovation leader with customers primarily active in the steel and metal industry.
As an international company, OTTO JUNKER has global presence, producing in Germany, the Czech Republic and China. The sales marketing for their products takes place worldwide.
